Wallex Referral Programme Supplement to the Customer Agreement
PLEASE READ THESE REFERRAL TERMS CAREFULLY
The Terms and Conditions for the PT Wallex Teknologi Berkat (“Wallex”) client referral programme (“Programme”) are effective as of January 1, 2025. The Terms and Conditions of the Programme constitute a binding legal agreement “this Agreement” between Wallex and you, "the Client and/or Referrer", participating in the Wallex Client Referral Programme.
Clients of Wallex are subject to Wallex’s standard terms of conditions set forth here (referred to as the “Wallex T&Cs”). Capitalised terms that are used but not otherwise defined in these terms and conditions shall have the definitions ascribed to them in the Wallex T&Cs.
- CLIENT REFERRAL PARTICIPATION
- By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement, the Wallex T&Cs and Wallex’s decision.
- You agree for Wallex to share your information with the “Referee”, namely the individual or the corporation that you referred to Wallex.
- The Wallex client referral programme (“Programme”) is organized by Wallex and is open to all existing Wallex clients ("Referrers") with an active account.
- CRITERIA FOR SUCCESSFUL REFERRAL
- Referrers must have an active Wallex account in good standing to participate.
- The referred individual or entity ("Referee") must:
- Sign up using the Referrer’s unique referral code.
- Complete their first transaction within 60 days of account approval.
- Referees must not be an existing Wallex client or previously registered user.
- The “Referrer” is an existing customer of Wallex. The “Referee” is not an existing customer of Wallex.
- The Referee signs up with a corporate account, is approved by Wallex post completion of the registration process and makes their first transaction within Wallex platform while the Programme is being run (“Referral”).
- The Referee uses the Referrer’s code when signing up with Wallex. If any other coupon code apart from the one sent by the Referrer is used, the Referrer shall not be eligible for the reward.
- The Referral reward payable to the Referrer (“Client Referral Reward”) will be processed only after successful account creation and approval using Referrer’s code and making their first transaction within Wallex platform.
- A unique individual / company counts as one Referral. A Referrer can make multiple unique Referrals.
- Wallex reserves the right to onboard / reject the Referral if the Referee does not qualify for the Programme (i.e. no payment needs / sit outside of risk appetite, etc).
- DELIVERY OF CLIENT REFERRAL REWARD
- Vouchers will be distributed via email to the email address associated with the participant’s Wallex account.
- For referrers: The voucher will be issued within 30 days after the Referee’s account approval, with a maximum distribution time of 15 business days after they are eligible.
- For referees: The voucher will be issued within 60 days after the Referee’s first transaction is confirmed, with a maximum distribution time of 15 business days after their eligibility is confirmed within the Wallex platform.
- REFERRAL REWARD
- Referrers will receive a shopping voucher worth IDR 300,000 for each Referee who:
- Successfully registers using their referral code.
- Has their account been approved by Wallex.
- Referees who successfully register using the Referrer’s unique code and complete their first transaction will receive a shopping voucher worth IDR 150,000.
- Terms and conditions of the voucher issuer apply.
- Typically, the gift vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash/credit-in-kind.
- Vouchers have their own validity and must be redeemed within the stipulated period.
- DATA PROTECTION
You represent and warrant us that you have obtained the express consent from the individuals and company they represent when you share their data with us.
- CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
Wallex may revise this Agreement at any time by amending this page. Continued use of the Programme shall amount to acceptance of this Agreement as may be amended from time to time.
Wallex expressly reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice to the customer(s), to add and/or alter, modify, change or vary all or in part, the Programme or to withdraw the Programme altogether
- CHANGES TO THE REFERRAL PROGRAM
Wallex reserves the right to:
- Amend, alter or change the Program at any time, without notice; and
- Terminate the Program at any time, without notice. In the event the Program is terminated, Wallex will not be obliged to credit any accounts that would have otherwise qualified for a Client Referral Reward.
- ABUSE OF THE REFERRAL TERMS
Wallex has the right to refuse to deliver you the Client Referral Reward if (in its sole and absolute discretion) Wallex has determined that you have not used the Referral Program in good faith or have breached this Agreement.
We will determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, whether there has been a breach of this Agreement. When a breach of this Agreement has occurred, Wallex may take such action as we deem appropriate, including (but not limited to) termination of this Agreement, closing your account(s) and suspending the Program.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Wallex accepts no liability with respect to the Program.
